The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, who spoke on Beyond The Headlines on TVC, also noted that he doesn’t miss public office.

Asked if he would contest for the president of Nigeria, Fashola said: “No, president of what, I’m president at home. I don’t miss public office because I have seen and done it.

“There is a sense now that one can look back and say you were lucky to have done it when you did it because you were younger much energetic, and extremely privileged of a life-time, surviving as it were and being able to look back is another privilege.

“I have been sleeping a lot, eating relatively better, while at work, food was fuel but now I can enjoy meals and not eat in a hurry and the pressure is off.

“I’m a member of the GAC and I attend meetings. I advice the government and I speak to so many levels of people, so there is a thin line between intervention and interference.”
