President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, has insisted that he never questioned the president’s leadership qualities when he takes political decisions that are not favourable to him.
Gbajabiamila affirmed that he will always be loyal and won’t betray Tinubu’s trust.
Speaking during the 2026 Gbaja Mega Empowerment Programme in Lagos, Gbajabiamila cautioned detractors against blackmailing participants.
He affirmed his desire to speak honestly and clearly to all those connected to his attacks.
According to Gbajabiamila, no amount of money, blackmail, or lies would detract him from carrying out the tasks assigned to him by the president.
He said: “I want to speak clearly and honestly to everyone involved in the attacks. No amount of money, threats, or false information, whether coming from inside or outside, will stop me from doing my job or from carrying out the work that the President has entrusted me with.
“If someone uses my name to cheat people or lie about me, I want them to know that the law will eventually find them.
“In politics, loyalty is the main thing we use the most. I have worked with President Tinubu for a long time, and there have been moments when his political choices did not align with what I wanted.
“I didn’t question Tinubu’s leadership qualities and I never betrayed his trust in me. I was loyal back then and I am still loyal now.”
