HUSKERS HAPPY HOUR: Week 2 Shows Improvement, On To North Dakota

Episode 2 of the Huskers Happy Hour began with chat about just how the weather went from “old folks will leave in ambulances is 100% guaranteed” to “THIS IS PERFECT FOOTBALL WEATHER” in one single week. And that sent us straight into talk about Owen Chambliss’ getting to make his Husker debut and another amazing drive chart during the Bowling Green game.

The team and individual stats got their run-through with the halftime yardage of 369-46 checking the box marked “Get off to a better start.” The Huskers also improved on many other areas in the needs improvement category & we got some explanation for the increased holding calls in the first two weeks.

On the national scene, Texas and Oregon received their deserved mockery. Texas for trying the proven failure method of getting a big lead then trying not lose; Oregon for being dominated by Oklahoma State/North Texas and starting to show signs of a 2025 early Penn State run.

And, per usual, the comments were plucked for additional thoughts & subjects of discussion
