Women’s T20 cricket in Asia takes centre stage this week as the tenth edition of the Women’s Asia Cup gets underway, with eight teams heading to Dubai.
Every single match across this edition will be staged at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This will mark the sixth time the tournament has been contested in the T20 format. Sri Lanka arrive as defending champions, after they stunned India by eight wickets in the 2024 final held in Dambulla.
India, though, remains the tournament’s most dominant side by a wide margin, having lifted the trophy seven times, and Harmanpreet Kaur’s side will be looking to add an eighth crown to that tally.
