The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (1-0) face their first FBS test of the new season on Saturday when the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (0-1) arrive between the hedges at Sanford Stadium.

Georgia cruised to a 63-3 win in its opener last week over visiting FCS foe Tennessee State, opening a 28-0 first-quarter lead and never looking back. Nate Frazier scored on three of his four carries, finishing with 72 yards, while Gunner Stockton finished 15-of-16 for 202 yards and three touchdowns before giving way to the backups. The Bulldogs piled up 660 yards of total offense while holding the overmatched Tigers to just 109. Fifteen different players logged receptions for Georgia.
Western Kentucky took a road 49-14 thumping last week at Nevada, trailing 21-7 at the half before the game got away from the Hilltoppers after the break. Ajay Allen ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries, and Rodney Tisdale Jr. was 24-of-40 for 203 yards, but the WKU defense gave up 323 yards on the ground and 486 overall.
The Bulldogs won the Southeastern Conference title last season and entered the College Football Playoff as the No. 3 seed, but were upset by Ole Miss at the Sugar Bowl in the quarterfinals to finish 12-2. The Hilltoppers come off a 9-4 campaign that ended with a New Orleans Bowl victory over Southern Miss. Georgia won the only meeting between the teams 48-12 at home back in September 2006.
