The NASCAR Cup Series Chase is officially halfway home, and Kyle Larson has started to create a little separation at the top of the standings. Larson enters Sunday’s Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with 2,318 points, giving him a 40-point lead over Denny Hamlin after five Chase races. Christopher Bell is 55 points back in third, Joey Logano is 71 back in fourth, and Ryan Blaney rounds out the top five at 80 points behind Larson.
That still leaves plenty of room for the playoff picture to change, especially with five races left and the entire 16-driver field still mathematically alive. The gap from Larson in first to Ryan Preece in 16th is 200 points, so the bottom half of the field needs to start making up ground quickly, while the contenders near the top try to keep Larson from turning a solid lead into a runaway. Charlotte is the next major test, and with The Chase entering its second half, every stage point, restart, pit call, and mistake matters more than ever.
The green flag drops in Charlotte at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, and race fans everywhere can watch every lap on Sling TV.

Kyle Larson looks to protect his Chase lead Sunday on USA Network, and NASCAR fans can stream the Bank of America 400 with Sling TV. The Cup Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, giving Larson another chance to create some separation near the top of the playoff field.
For Sling subscribers, the channel setup is simple. The Bank of America 400 airs on USA Network, which means you need Sling Blue or Sling Orange & Blue to watch the race. Sling Orange by itself won’t work, and neither will any of the cheaper Sling packages.
These are the Sling packages you can watch the race with:
Sling TV Orange & Blue ($60.99/month)
We always recommend Sling for NASCAR races, but you can also watch on Sunday afternoon with any of these other three streaming platforms:
- DIRECTV STREAM ($59.99/month for the first month, then $89.99/month)
Hulu + Live TV ($89.99/month with a 3-day free trial; also includes Disney+ and ESPN Unlimited)
YouTube TV ($52.99/month for the first two months, then $82.99/month with a variable free trial)
DIRECTV STREAM ($59.99/month for the first month, then $89.99/month)
Hulu + Live TV ($89.99/month with a 3-day free trial; also includes Disney+ and ESPN Unlimited)
YouTube TV ($52.99/month for the first two months, then $82.99/month with a variable free trial)
Sling is the better pick if you just want the main USA Network broadcast, but HBO Max is worth considering for fans who want to follow the race from more than one view. Starting at $18.49/month, HBO Max offers alternate angles, in-car cameras, and multi-view coverage, giving NASCAR fans a more immersive way to watch Sunday’s action.
