Inter enter the new campaign as defending champions after capturing their 21st Serie A title in 2025-26. The Nerazzurri will look to stay on top after scoring a league-best 89 goals last season, with Lautaro Martínez returning after leading Serie A with 17 goals. Napoli, Roma, Juventus and AC Milan are among the clubs looking to challenge Inter, while Como will be another team to watch after a historic fourth-place finish earned the club its first-ever Champions League appearance.
The league once again features 20 clubs and 380 total matches, with Venezia, Frosinone and Monza joining the competition following promotion from Serie B. The opening weekend includes Genoa vs. Napoli, Inter vs. Monza, Frosinone vs. Juventus and Torino vs. Milan before a season-long race that concludes May 30, 2027.
