The Oregon Ducks (1-1), who plummeted from No. 2 in the preseason polls to No. 21 after a stunning loss at Oklahoma State last week, look to fix some problems on Friday night when they host the FCS Portland State Vikings (0-3), who enter with a six-game losing streak.

Oregon fought back to take a 31-30 lead early in the fourth quarter when Dante Moore and Evan Stewart hooked up for a 38-yard touchdown pass, but Oklahoma State took the lead back 4:30 later and broke a 12-game losing streak with a 39-31 win on Saturday. The Ducks’ defense was gashed for 554 yards while Moore was just 14-of-29 for 191 yards and two touchdowns while taking four sacks. Oregon is allowing 414.0 yards of total offense per game.
Portland State fell behind 17-0 on its way to a 47-23 loss to then-No. 7 North Dakota on Saturday. Gabe Downing finished 23-of-39 for 233 yards and three touchdowns while the defense surrendered 625 yards and the special teams gave up a 99-yard kickoff return for a score.
The Ducks lead the Vikings 6-0 all-time, with an 81-7 win in the teams’ last meeting on Sept. 2, 2023. Moore comes in completing 63.6% of his throws for 569 yards and five touchdowns, with Jeremiah McClellan catching seven passes for 170 yards and a score and Dakorien Moore posting nine receptions for 138 yards and two TDs.
Delon Thompson leads the Portland State ground game with 186 yards, while Downing has 513 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions on 59.3% accuracy. Terrence Loville has 15 receptions for 221 yards and a score, while Isaac Redford leads the defense with two interceptions.
