How much money Jon Rahm has made over the last year on LIV as he reportedly nears PGA Tour return
Jon Rahm looks to be coming back to the PGA Tour.
This has been in the works for some time. He was offered a deal to return to the tour in January, when Brooks Koepka jumped ship from LIV, but the Spaniard did not accept then.
Rahm was under a multi-year deal with LIV Golf and couldn’t get out of it at the time. But since LIV has lost its Saudi funding, canceled its team finale, and reportedly can’t fulfill the full contract Rahm signed in 2023, he’s now free to seek a return.
Reports say that Rahm has agreed to a far harsher deal than Koepka did earlier this year, as he has to pay $25 million to charity instead of the $5 million Koepka donated. But with how much he’s made on LIV this season, this looks to have been the right call.
How much Jon Rahm made on LIV Golf this year as the Individual Champion.
Rahm won LIV’s individual title for the third straight year this season. He’s won the championship in every single year he’s played on LIV. This has seen him earn an eye-watering amount of money this season alone.
The two-time major winner has made over $18 million just from tournament prize money, and by winning the individual championship, Rahm made an extra $6 million on top of that. This nearly covers the $25 million he will pay to the PGA Tour.
When you consider Rahm’s salary on top of that, as he agreed to a deal worth $350 million when he signed to LIV, and he’ll have easily covered the cost of the charitable donation and more throughout 2026.
So by not accepting the Koepka deal, which was offered to him, Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith, Rahm has actually benefited financially rather than lost out.
It was a rocky road to get to this point, but it’s all worked out really well for Rahm in the end.
