George Kittle did not shut down the idea of Taylor Swift returning to the Tight End University stage, and that was enough to restart the guessing game.
The annual event already carries extra attention because of Travis Kelce’s role as one of its founders. Once Swift made a surprise appearance there before, any hint about another mystery performance was always going to lead back to her.
Kittle knows that, which made his answer on the upcoming country concert feel more like a tease than a denial.

On the Up & Adams Show, George Kittle was asked about the entertainment plans for Tight End University, and he kept the names hidden.
“That night, we have a country music show. I can’t tell you the names of the people are performing because some of them are on tour, and I guess, I’m not wanting to do that,” Kittle said.
He added, “But I’ll just tell you that it’s going to be an amazing show. We have some awesome talent. And I don’t know how we got this much talent. … I’m looking forward to the country concert.”
That answer alone gave fans room to wonder. Kittle did not mention Swift, but the combination of secrecy, touring artists, and TEU’s history made the speculation easy to understand.
The event is returning to Nashville, and the Tight Ends & Friends concert has already built a reputation for surprise moments beyond football.

The obvious reason fans keep connecting Swift to the event is what happened in 2025, when she made a surprise appearance at Tight End University in Nashville.
Swift joined Kane Brown on stage at Brooklyn Bowl and performed “Shake It Off,” giving the event a viral moment far bigger than a normal offseason football gathering.
Kelce was there, Kittle was part of the scene, and the clip traveled quickly because it blended NFL culture with one of music’s biggest stars.
So when Kittle was asked if any global sensation might be coming this time, his answer only fed the rumor, “I neither confirm nor deny. I could never.”
That is not confirmation, and Kittle clearly avoided giving away the lineup. But after Swift’s previous TEU moment, a non-answer may be all fans need to start believing the stage could have another major surprise waiting.
