Here's where every major 'Euphoria' character ended up on the series finale

The scene between the sisters is tragic. They lack the emotional connection necessary to support each other through their losses; Lexi is reeling from the death of Rue, her best friend since childhood, and maddy-in-the-euphoria-season-3-finale/">Cassie is an abandoned newlywed, hustling to recover from the financial ruin Nate left her in.

The final shot of Cassie shows her sitting in her empty bedroom, illuminated by a ring light, with a single tear rolling down her face.

Lexi will probably keep working as a Hollywood screenwriter.

Lexi tells Cassie that she harbors a lot of guilt over Rue’s death. She says she’s been reading the Bible that Rue left at her apartment, and she believes the core message is to keep living through tragedy and trauma.

Cassie asks Lexi to help with her content creation as an in-house “storyteller,” but Lexi declines.

Maddy is still acting as Cassie’s manager.

At the end of the show, Maddy seems to be living in Cassie’s mansion, helping her make content. Cassie also tells Lexi they use the empty rooms to stage content for other girls, and then they take a cut of the girls’ profits.

Maddy owes Alamo after she asked for his help in the penultimate episode. Nate had been kidnapped, and Cassie was being extorted for $1 million to save him; Maddy asked Alamo for a loan, but instead, he shot and killed the man whom Nate owed money to.

Alamo has a self-admitted soft spot for Maddy, but he still won’t let her off the hook for the $1 million. She and Cassie labor to pay him back in installments, with Maddy delivering wads of cash to his strip club — that is, until Alamo himself is shot and killed in front of her. His death seems to release Maddy from her debt.

Levinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he wanted fans of Maddy to “feel like she is finally free.”

Alamo is murdered by Ali as revenge for Rue.

Ali Muhammad (Colman Domingo) begins spiraling after he finds Rue dead on his sofa.

Ali met Rue at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and worked hard to keep her clean. Although his efforts never quite stuck, he loved Rue and treated her like a daughter.

He decides to renounce Islam and quit NA. In his final meeting, he says that, rather than sponsoring young addicts, he wants to find a more effective way to make the world a better place … which apparently involves murdering drug dealers. He visits Alamo’s strip club, the Silver Slipper, and shoots him in a Western-style standoff.

Ali visits a Christian family in Texas, who previously helped Rue.

In the season three premiere, Rue stays with a family in Texas after returning from a drug run in Mexico. She later tells Ali they were the happiest, most peaceful people she’d ever met.

After killing Alamo, Ali travels to Texas to visit the family. He tells them his name is Martin McQueen and that his daughter is “in a better place.” They all sit down for dinner together, and Ali leads the family in prayer, asking the Lord to bless Rue’s memory.

“When we were growing up, my brother Rick was always searching for religion. I went to a mosque with my brother because he was curious about different religions and philosophies. I took a lot of that to Ali,” Domingo told Variety. “All these ideas about how to be in the world, about trying to be a good person in service to humanity. I think it takes a curious heart, and Ali has that curious heart. He’s searching.”
