The Many baseball team blitzed through the District 3-2A season with a 10-0 record, allowing two Tigers to earn top accolades on the 2026 All-District team selected by the league coaches.
Meanwhile, the Winnfield softball team took top honors on the all-district softball team, with junior Karley Caskey selected most valuable player and coach Ronnie Abels named coach of the year. Caskey hit .391 with six home runs and 40 RBIs while compiling a 17-4 pitching record with 207 strikeouts and a 1.57 ERA. Abels saw his team go 4-0 in district and 25-9 overall after advancing to the LHSAA Select Division III quarterfinals.
Many senior Payton Hyden earned MVP honors in baseball after hitting .441 with three home runs and 38 RBIs and scoring 41 runs. The third sacker is headed to Arkansas Three Rivers to play collegiately. Coach Toby Remedies directed his team to a 25-11 overall finish and a regional round finish.
