Hamas hands over Gaza governance as Israeli airstrikes kill more Palestinians

Hamas has announced plans to dissolve its civilian governing body in the Gaza Strip after nearly two decades and transfer its responsibilities to a proposed National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, marking a major shift in the enclave’s governance.
