Gov Namadi submits Ahmed Kaugama’s nomination to Jigawa Assembly for approval

Governor Umar Namadi has forwarded the name of Ahmed Kaugama to the Jigawa State House of Assembly for confirmation as a commissioner and member of the State Executive Council.

The nomination was disclosed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, and made available to journalists on Tuesday.

The statement was signed by the Public Relations Officer in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Isma’ila Ibrahim Dutse.

According to the statement, the nominee’s name has been transmitted to the Assembly for consideration and confirmation in line with constitutional provisions.

If confirmed by the lawmakers, Kaugama will join the Jigawa State Executive Council as a commissioner.
