June is nearly over, and as the days tick away, it brings us closer to the start of the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats football season. We’re now 68 days away from their opening week of play, and as we count down the days, we’re getting to know the roster. Today, we’re taking a look at No. 68 Alexander DiMartino.
DiMartino is a 6’4″, 306 lb offensive lineman out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he played multiple positions up front. Though he wasn’t a rated prospect out of high school, he traveled north to Lexington to join the Wildcats as a walk-on.
As a freshman, DiMartino didn’t see any action, but practiced hard, and stayed ready in case he was called on. He was also diligent in supporting his teammates on the field, and on his social media, where he followed the former Wildcats who entered the NFL draft.
Heading into his sophomore season, he’ll likely find himself farther down the depth chart, but will certainly work hard to be ready. He would likely be an emergency center, and could pick up some special teams work as well. Walk-ons are always hard workers, and DiMartino is no exception.
