Get to know the 2026 Florida State soccer roster

Coming off another national championship title, Florida State has entered the 2026 season with a new roster featuring a combination of returning national champions, freshmen and transfers.

Through four nonconference games, the Seminoles (3-1) have already had plenty of strong moments while continuing to work on building chemistry with their new roster. Several different players have earned starts and meaningful minutes as FSU works to find the right combinations on the field.

The roster also entered the season with plenty of preseason recognition. Wrianna Hudson, Janet Okeke and Nyanya Touray were named Preseason All-ACC, while Hudson, Touray, Ashley Henderson and Sam Erbach were named Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy Players to Watch.

With the Seminoles on an off week, let’s take the time to have a look at the players that make up Florida State’s 2026 roster.

Goalkeeper

Hometown: Sandy, Utah

Ockene made 11 starts during her freshman season at FSU and finished with a 9-0-3 record and 30 saves across 14 appearances.

One of her biggest performances came in the NCAA National Championship against No. 1 Stanford, where Ockene recorded a career-high nine saves for her fifth shutout.

So far in her sophomore season, Ockene has played the full game and started against Stetson, FAU and Florida, totaling seven saves.

Defender

Hometown: Waldorf, Md.

Dill came to FSU after playing with the U.S. U-18 Youth National Team. She was ranked the No. 12 defender and No. 57 overall player by Top Drawer Soccer.

The freshman has appeared in all four games for the Seminoles, playing 146 minutes and recording two shots.

Forward

Hometown: Stanley, N.C.

McGrew played in 21 games with eight starts last season, scoring one goal.

She played 40 minutes in the NCAA National Championship against No. 1 Stanford and scored her first goal of the season in the NCAA Third Round against No. 2 seed Georgetown.

McGrew started against Stetson this season and has appeared in two games for a total of 78 minutes.

Defender

Hometown: Duluth, Ga.

After redshirting last season, Price has seen action against Stanford and FAU and has played a total of 86 minutes this season.

Defender

Hometown: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Mutipula came to FSU with international experience after playing in the U-17 World Cup and helping Canada reach the quarterfinals. She has also appeared with the U-17 and U-20 Youth National Teams.

Mutipula has started in all four games for the Seminoles and totaled 239 minutes.

Midfielder

Hometown: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Dantas played in 18 games with one start last season, recording one goal and two assists across.

As a freshman in 2024, she played 473 minutes and recorded 11 points behind four goals and three assists.

Dantas has not appeared in a game yet this season.

Midfielder

Hometown: Silver Spring, Md.

Touray returns for her sophomore season after playing in 16 games with five starts last year. She recorded two goals, including one game-winner, and two assists. Touray also played 56 minutes in the NCAA National Championship.

She entered 2026 as one of three Seminoles named Preseason All-ACC and was also named to the Hermann Trophy Forwards to Watch list. Top Drawer Soccer ranked Touray No. 80 in its Preseason Top 100.

Touray has played in all four games this season and scored against FIU.

Defender

Hometown: Laval, Canada

Okeke transferred from NC State to Florida State for the 2025 campaign and won a National Championship in her first season as a Seminole.

Last season, she played in 22 games with 21 starts and recorded one assist.

Okeke earned Preseason All-ACC honors entering 2026 and was named a Second Team defender on Top Drawer Soccer’s Preseason Best XI. She was also ranked No. 19 in the outlet’s Preseason Top 100.

Okeke has appeared in all four games this season, totaling 244 minutes.

Forward

Hometown: Parrish, Fla.

Strickland transferred to Florida State this season after playing her first three collegiate years at Kentucky.

As a junior, she played 1,594 minutes across 21 games, scoring two goals and leading the team with seven assists.

In her first season as a Seminole so far, Strickland has appeared in three games and started two, against FAU and Florida. Through 133 minutes, she has scored two goals and recorded one assist, with both of her shots on goal. 

Midfielder

Hometown: Memphis, Tenn.

Henderson spent her first three collegiate seasons at Memphis before transferring to Florida State.

She started all 21 games she played in last season, scoring 10 goals and recording nine assists.

Henderson’s Junior year performance at Memphis earned her a spot on the Hermann Trophy Forwards to Watch list entering 2026. Top Drawer Soccer also ranked her No. 50 in its Preseason Top 100.

Through four games as a Seminole, Henderson has played 182 minutes and recorded two assists.

Midfielder

Hometown: St. Catherine, Jamaica

Buckley played her first two collegiate seasons at Daytona State before transferring to FSU for her junior year.

During her sophomore season, she scored 23 goals and recorded 20 assists across 20 games.

As a Seminole, Buckley has played in all four games for a total of 202 minutes. She has recorded four shots, with two on goal.

Midfielder

Hometown: Bristow, Va.

McGovern played in 22 games with 18 starts last season, where she recorded two assists. She was part of FSU’s National Championship team and played in the title game on Dec. 8.

McGovern has played 255 minutes this season and scored a goal in FSU’s first game. She has also recorded two shots, with both on goal.

Forward

Hometown: Bromley, England

Gordon Rodney played for Arsenal’s U-21 team where she helped the team win the Professional Academy championship with nine goals and 21 assists.

She has appeared in three games for FSU this season, totaling 56 minutes.

Foward

Hometown: Oakham, England

Kaczmar has appeared in all four games for Florida State this season, totaling 140 minutes and recording one shot on goal.

Midfielder

Hometown: Menomonee Falls, Wis.

Hoytink transferred from Kentucky ahead of the 2026 season.

She started and played in 17 games for Kentucky last season, scoring three goals and recording four assists.

Hoytink has yet to make her Seminole debut.

Goalkeeper

Hometown: Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Mayrink started her collegiate career at Barry in 2024 before transferring to Iowa for her sophomore season and then joining FSU as a junior.

The goalkeeper made 27 saves across 12 games last season.

Mayrink made her Seminole debut against FIU, playing the entire game and recording three saves in a shutout. It remains her only appearance this season.

Forward

Hometown: Markham, Ontario
 Rose played her first three collegiate seasons at SMU before transferring to Florida State.

Last season, she started 12 games and appeared in 14, scoring four goals and recording one assist.

Rose was ranked No. 58 in Top Drawer Soccer’s Preseason Top 100 entering her first season at FSU.

She has played in all four games this season, totaling 140 minutes with two shots and one shot on goal. Her first start as a Seminole came against FIU.

Midfielder

Hometown: San Jose, Calif.
Jung spent her first three collegiate seasons at Stanford before transferring to Florida State for her senior year.

She played in 21 games last season with 12 starts, scoring four goals and recording eight assists for 16 points.

Jung has appeared in all four games this season and started against FAU. Through 154 minutes, she has recorded one goal, three shots and one shot on goal.

Midfielder

Hometown: Falls Church, Va.

Ahmad played in 16 games as a freshman, recording two goals and one assist across 337 minutes. She also played 10 minutes in the NCAA National Championship against No. 1 Stanford.

This season, Ahmad has appeared in two games and started against FIU. She has played 100 minutes and recorded one shot, which was on goal.

Defender

Hometown: Tampa, Fla.

Rain enters her fifth year of collegiate play. She spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons at Tennessee before transferring to FSU and sat out the 2024 season due to injury.

Rain has appeared in all four games this season and started against Stetson and FAU, totaling 190 minutes.

Forward

Hometown: Cypress, Texas

Robinson played her freshman season at Arkansas and sophomore season at Tennessee before transferring to Florida State.

Last season at Tennessee, she started in 12 of the 14 games she appeared in and scored two goals.

Robinson has played in all four games for FSU this season, starting against FAU and FIU. Through 179 minutes, she has two assists and seven shots, with four on goal.

Midfielder

Hometown: Lebanon, Ohio

Erbach transferred to Florida State from Xavier after starting all 22 games last season and recording 18 goals and 16 assists.

She entered her first season at FSU with significant preseason recognition. Erbach was named to the Hermann Trophy Midfielders to Watch list and earned First Team honors on Top Drawer Soccer’s Preseason Best XI. She was also ranked No. 3 overall in Top Drawer Soccer’s Preseason Top 100, the highest ranking of any Seminole.

Erbach has started in three of FSU’s first four games, earning starts against FIU, FAU and Florida. Through 268 minutes, she has one goal, two assists and nine shots, with four on goal.

Defender

Hometown: Shawnee, Kan.

Page transferred to Florida State from Kansas. 

During her junior season at Kansas, Page started all 25 games, scoring one goal and recording two assists.

She has appeared in all four games this season and started against FIU and Florida. Page has played 207 minutes and recorded one assist.

Goalkeeper

Hometown: Raleigh, N.C.

Dixon is a fifth-year goalkeeper who transferred to Florida State from Gardner-Webb. Last season, Dixon started all 18 games she appeared in and allowed 30 goals.

Forward

Hometown: Rochester, N.Y.

Hudson enters her third season at Florida State after starting 14 of 22 games last season. She scored 15 goals, including five game-winners, and added one assist.

Hudson earned Preseason All-ACC honors and was named to the Hermann Trophy Forwards to Watch list entering her junior season. Top Drawer Soccer also selected her to its Preseason Best XI Second Team and ranked her No. 14 in its Preseason Top 100.

Hudson has started three of FSU’s first four games this season, totaling 212 minutes. She has scored one goal and recorded 10 shots, putting nine on goal.

Midfielder

Hometown: Jacksonville, Fla.

Junaid redshirted at Florida State last season.

Hometown: Las Vegas, NV

A highly-touted recruit who was the No. 1-ranked club player in California and a spot on the USYNT, Ajeto has already scored two goals for Florida State this season on five shots (four on goal).

She’s played in all four of FSU’s games, including a start in the Seminoles’ season opener, logging 151 minutes so far this year.

Florida State’s roster features players with different levels of experience within the program. Through four games, Florida State has already used different lineups while giving both returning players and newcomers opportunities on the field. With much of the season still ahead, the Seminoles will continue working to bring those pieces together as they move through nonconference play.
