Gerard Butler’s 109-Minute Action Thriller Officially Removed From Netflix

2026 has been a rocky year for Gerard Butler so far, who maintains his status as one of the biggest action stars in the world despite a recent few misfires. Butler returned to his role as John Garrity in Greenland 2: Migration earlier this year, but things certainly didn’t go according to plan for the sequel. Greenland 2 came into theaters carrying a $90 million budget, meaning the film needed to make close to $200 million just to break even, but it managed to earn only $52 million during its entire theatrical run. Butler also starred in the Netflix crime thriller, In The Hand of Dante, but the film was dumped onto the platform without much marketing after earning poor reviews from early screenings at various film festivals. It co-stars Jason Momoa and Oscar Isaac.
