Georgia basketball: Full 2026-2027 schedule including Duke game in New York

Georgia basketball‘s 2026-2027 schedule is complete including a date set for the marquee matchup with Duke in the Jimmy V Classic in New York City.

The Bulldogs and Blue Devils will play on Dec. 8 in Madison Square Garden.

It’s the first matchup between the programs since 1932 when Georgia won in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament in Atlanta. Houston and Alabama will play in the other game in the Jimmy V doubleheader.

Georgia’s nonconference slate also includes some games in Athens that weren’t previously reported: Nov. 6 vs. Presbyterian and Nov. 16 vs. Jacksonville. The Bulldogs also play at North Carolina, against rival Georgia Tech in Atlanta and in the ESPN Events Invitational in Kissimmee, Fla. against Cincinnati and UCF.

The Bulldogs open the season on Nov. 2 against UNC-Central and begin SEC play on Jan. 2 at Ole Miss.

Georgia said it expects to play up to three exhibition games still to be announced.

Georgia is coming off a second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Under fifth-year coach Mike White, the Bulldogs bring back Kanon Catchings, Blue Cain, Smurf Millender and Kareem Stagg.
