Gbajabiamila: Nigerian govt should award Adeyemi for intelligence – Buhari’s ex-Minister

Former Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Solomon Dalung, has called on the Federal Government to bestow an award on ‘the Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC’, Adeniyi Adeyemi, over his discovery

Dalung made this call on Friday in an interview on Trust TV, while reacting to the saga between Adeyemi and Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.

Recall that Adeyemi alleged that Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, received N400 million through a proxy and demanded an additional N200 million to secure his appointment.

The Presidency has, however, debunked the allegation, saying Gbajabiamila cannot write letters or give appointments.

Speaking during the interview, Dalung said, “If we are to believe the story of the government, then the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has collapsed, and it should resign, because it means there are even more scammers operating in the government.

“It also means that the agencies, which are existing today, we don’t know which one to trust that is not a fictitious agency.

“Now, if we are to believe the government, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is talking this, that scammer also scammed the Senate.

“If this scammer has succeeded in all these layers. I will recommend the President to award this Nigerian, Adeyemi an award of the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger, GCON, because he is a very intelligent and smart Nigerian that we need to process this intelligence and deploy it for the development of Nigeria.”
