FUTMINNA announces 127th Inaugural Lecture

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT MINNA) is set to host its highly anticipated 127th Inaugural Lecture of the university. The event, organized under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor, will bring together academics, students, and information professionals to discuss the evolution of information sharing in modern times.

​This iteration of the university’s lecture series centers on the theme: “The Relationship of Library Websites and Information Dissemination in the Digital Era: Trends and Challenges.” The presentation aims to address how traditional academic and public archives navigate modern technological shifts, alongside the modern challenges of digital data management.

​Inaugural Lecturer: The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Georgina Uchey Oyedum [BLS, MLS (ABU, Zaria), PhD (UI)], a distinguished Professor of Library and Information Technology.

​Chairman of the Occasion: The event will be presided over by Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta [B.Sc (UDUS), M.Tech (FUT Minna), PhD (ATBU Bauchi)], the current Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

​The university has finalized the arrangements for the public lecture as follows:
