The Centre for Continuing Education, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has commenced registration for the University Advanced Basic Sciences Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is run in affiliation with the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board and successful candidates may use the result for 200 Level Direct Entry admission into FUTA, other participating universities in Nigeria and universities overseas.

Who Can Apply for FUTA JUPEB Admission?
Eligible applicants must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects.
The credits must be obtained at not more than two sittings and they must match the applicant’s intended field of study.
What Is the FUTA UABS Programme?
The University Advanced Basic Sciences Programme is an advanced basic study route under the FUTA Centre for Continuing Education.
The programme is linked with JUPEB and it is meant for candidates who seek Direct Entry admission after successful completion of the required examinations.
