FUKASHERE SRC issues update to students regarding NELFUND refund

The Students Representative Council (SRC) wishes to inform all affected students regarding the ongoing NELFUND refund process.

We are aware that some students are yet to receive their refunds. We kindly appeal for your patience and understanding as we are working closely with the Bursary Department to ensure that every eligible student receives their refund successfully.

Following our engagement with the relevant authorities, we were informed that some refund transactions were affected by network-related issues from Remita, while others failed due to transaction processing challenges. 

However, the refund process is still ongoing, and some students continue to receive their payments.

We therefore urge all affected students to remain calm and exercise patience for the next one week as efforts are being intensified to resolve all failed transactions and ensure that every outstanding refund is processed successfully.

The SRC remains committed to protecting the interests of students and will continue to work hand in hand with the Bursary Department until this matter is fully resolved.
