FUDUTSIN-MA disclaims false information regarding increase in hostel fees

The attention of the Management of Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) has been drawn to a false memo being circulated on social media and other platforms by some disgruntled elements, claiming that the university has increased its hostel accommodation fees from 30,000 Naira to 60,000 Naira.

​The University Management wishes to categorically state that this information is entirely false, malicious, and a deliberate attempt by mischief-makers to cause unnecessary disaffection, and disrupt the peaceful academic environment of the institution.

​For the avoidance of doubt, Management has NOT approved any increment in hostel fees. The accommodation fees remain unchanged.

​Students, parents, guardians, and the general public are hereby advised to completely disregard the fake memo. Official information regarding fees or any university policies will only be communicated through the university’s official channels, including the website and verified notice boards.

​The University is tracking the source of this fraudulent publication, and those found responsible for generating or spreading this misinformation will face strict disciplinary actions.
