Poland defender, Przemysław Wiśniewski says his team deserved a share of the spoils in Wednesday night’s friendly encounter against Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.
Jan Urban’s side fought back twice in the 2-2 draw at the 58,000-capacity Stadion PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
Wiśniewski stated that they defended better against the Super Eagles compare to their previous game against Ukraine.
“Nigeria didn’t have many scoring opportunities in the first half, apart from scoring. We analyzed the match against Ukraine closely and will try to draw conclusions from Nigeria as well.
“We conceded two goals, but overall we were better defensively,” Wiśniewski said after the game.
