According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Roma are looking at free agents as they seek a suitable candidate to strengthen their left attacking flank, and one of names considered is Wilfried Zaha.
Frequently moving between Crystal Palace and Manchester United in his youth days, the Ivorian eventually spent eight years at Selhurst Park, establishing himself as a formidable attacker, known best for his pace and dribbling skills. Overall, he played 458 matches for Palace, scoring 90 goals and providing 54 assists. This vast Premier League experience seems to be the quality Roma appreciate in him the most.
In 2023, Zaha left to join Galatasaray, but his time in Turkey wasn’t quite as successful as in England. He was sent on loan first to Olympique Lyon and then to Charlotte FC, and his contract with Galatasaray ended at the start of July this year – a day after his return from the MLS side.
At the age of 33, Zaha would arguably represent a good addition for the Giallorossi.
