Keeping up on former Vikings is something we pride ourselves on here on Vikings Wire. That means covering the big plays, new roles, and even the injuries. Sadly, we have an injury report for a former explosive piece of the Vikings team.
New Orleans Saints running back Ty Chandler suffered what is described as a “serious” knee injury. NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill was the first to report it.
Chandler was expected to have a larger role in the Saints’ backfield due to injuries to Alvin Kamara and Devan Neal. The team will now lean on. Travis Etienne remains the leader in the clubhouse, but now the Saints will look for a new explosive option behind him.
Chandler played for the Vikings for four seasons after being drafted in the fifth round in 2022.
