Former Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Bo Hughley is expected to have a significant role for the Colorado Buffaloes and coach Deion Sanders his season. Hughley is in the lead to be the Buffaloes’ starting left tackle this fall.
Hughley started games against Auburn and Alabama during Georgia’s 2025 season and is a former top-100 recruit. He played a key role in Georgia’s overtime win at Tennessee last fall. Hughley earned a 62.1 Pro Football Focus grade, including a 73.9 pass-blocking grade and a 59.3 run-blocking grade. He allowed just three total pressures and appeared in 10 games.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle has the size and talent to succeed at Colorado. Hughley was ranked as a three-star transfer and has two seasons of eligibility left.
“I’m happy with where Bo (Hughley) is heading, he’s not where he has to be yet,” Colorado offensive line coach Gunnar White said.
Hughley made Pick Six Previews’ All-Transfer team in the Big 12. He is hoping to start for Colorado as the Buffaloes look to improve after going 3-9 in 2025. Coach Sanders is still looking for his first bowl win.
