Florida and South Carolina were delayed at halftime by lightning in Gainesville, with the Gamecocks holding a 17-10 lead.

Florida football’s post on X, formerly known as Twitter, did not specify any kind of time for resumption. It instead said updates would be coming along.

Gainesville is being hit by inclement weather, with the temperature hovering in the high-80s and a 90% chance of precipitation.

While showers are certainly on the docket, thunderstorms are as well. While the rain should get more disbursed as the day wears on, it will also get heavier.
