Many fans have taken aim at FIFA over expensive costs, while the governing body has pointed to US resale politics to justify its math.

Yet TicketData’s latest update suggests FIFA’s pricing still matched demand from many supporters.

TicketData founder says FIFA has zero primary World Cup tickets available

Keith Pagello, founder of TicketData, has reported a striking development in the World Cup ticket market.

According to Pagello, there are currently no tickets available directly from FIFA for any match at the tournament.

He said the number of primary tickets had been hovering between 100 and 200 over recent days, with small batches appearing occasionally.

However, that number has reached zero, at least for several hours, with Pagello stressing that he was not talking about resale tickets.

And the primary market tells its own story. The governing body has faced criticism over prices, but demand has not disappeared.

For supporters still hoping to attend, the next battle may not be finding availability. It may be finding a price that feels even remotely realistic.
