Fever star Aliyah Boston leaves game vs. Storm early after apparent knee injury

Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston left their matchup with the Seattle Storm early on Tuesday night after an awkward knee injury.

Boston, in the second quarter of the matchup at Climate Pledge Arena, set a screen and started rolling to the basket from the top of the key. But as she tried to get past Flau’jae Johnson, the two got tangled up and Boston fell down to the court hard.

She landed directly on her right knee, and grabbed it instantly as she picked up the foul.

Boston remained down on the court for quite some time. She was eventually helped up and off the floor, and she limped back to the locker room. Further specifics of the injury are not yet known.

Boston had 11 points and two rebounds when she went down. She entered the night averaging 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season.
