Federal Poly Ado-Ekiti HND Form 2026/2027 | Full & Part-Time
The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, has invited suitably qualified applicants for admission into Higher National Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The admission exercise covers HND Morning programmes, which will run for four semesters, as well as Evening and Part-Time programmes, which will run for six semesters.

Who Can Apply for FEDPOLYADO HND Admission?
Applicants must possess National Diploma with at least Lower Credit in the chosen course or programme.
They must also have five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, from SSCE, NECO, GCE or relevant NABTEB O’Level examinations, at not more than two sittings.
Applicants must have their ND results and Industrial Training letters ready for upload before applying.
What Work Experience Is Required?
Applicants with Lower Credit and above at National Diploma level must have at least nine months of post-ND cognate work experience, also known as Industrial Training.
Applicants with Pass grade must have at least eighteen months of post-ND cognate work experience.
What NABTEB Rules Apply to Applicants?
Applicants with NABTEB National Technical Certificate for courses under the School of Engineering must have the five required O’Level subjects and one core subject from the Trade Related Area.
Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts and Secretarial Studies will not serve as the required core Trade Related Area subject for Engineering courses.
Applicants for business-related courses may use NABTEB Business Certificate.
NABTEB Business Certificate and NABTEB General Education Certificate are not accepted for admission into the School of Engineering.
NABTEB National Technical Certificate and NABTEB General Education Certificate may be accepted for some courses under the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, School of Science and Computer Studies and School of Environmental Studies, as stated under the course requirements on the Polytechnic website.
Applicants are advised to check the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti admission page for the National Diploma entry requirements that qualify them for the related HND programme.
When Will FEDPOLYADO HND Application Start and Close?
The online application form will be available from Monday, 15 June 2026.
The application for admission will close on Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
Applicants are advised to visit the Polytechnic website regularly from Monday, 15 June 2026 for detailed online application instructions.
How Much Is the FEDPOLYADO HND Admission Form?
The application fee is N15,500 only, with administrative charges included.
Payment will be made on the Remita platform after the applicant has generated and printed the payment invoice from the school portal.
How Can Applicants Apply for FEDPOLYADO HND Admission?
Applicants are to visit the FEDPOLYADO student application portal to generate and print the application payment invoice.
The online application process will be completed as follows:
- Visit the FEDPOLYADO student application portal.
- Generate and print the application payment invoice.
- Proceed to any bank of choice with the generated invoice and pay N15,500 on Remita.
- Use a debit card, such as MasterCard, Visa Card or Verve Card, where preferred and follow the payment instructions on the invoice page.
- Return to the school portal after payment.
- Fill the application form with the RRR number on the payment invoice.
- Upload the ND result and Industrial Training letter.
- Print the acknowledgement slip after completing the form.
The invoice and RRR must be issued in the candidate’s name.

Will Applicants Sit for an Aptitude Test?
All HND Morning, Evening and Part-Time applicants will be required to sit for an aptitude test.
The test will be conducted as a Computer Based Test and it will test the basics of the National Diploma syllabi.
The CBT will cover Test of English, General Paper and areas of ND specialisation.
What Transcript Rule Applies to Applicants from Other Schools?
Applicants who had their National Diploma from other similar tertiary schools must ensure that transcripts of their academic records are forwarded directly by their former schools.

Transcripts submitted by hand will not be accepted for processing.
Which Applications May Not Be Processed?
The Polytechnic is not bound to process the application form of any applicant whose transcript is not received on or before the due date.
The same rule applies where the form is not properly completed or where the form is received after the closing date.
Applicants with Lower Credit and above will not be processed where the National Diploma Statement of Result carries an effective date of March 2026 or later.
Applicants with Pass grade will not be processed where the National Diploma Statement of Result carries an effective date of January 2025 or later.
All applications with false details will be rejected.
What Should Applicants Check Before Submission?
Applicants are advised to read through their forms carefully before submission.
They should confirm their names, RRR, programme choice, ND result details, IT letter and contact information before the final submission is made.
The Polytechnic does not employ external agencies for admission processing and applicants are advised to beware of scammers.
