“Fashion is my baby” — Veekee James reveals why she will never abandon designing

Fashion designer, Veekee James has explained why she does not see herself abandoning fashion designing for content creation, saying she believes her fashion brand has far greater long-term financial potential.

Speaking in an interview, the renowned designer said she envisions a future where a single dress from her brand could sell for as much as $100,000 or more, making fashion a career she is unwilling to walk away from.

According to her, “I don’t know the content creation that can make me stop fashion designing. I don’t know the kind of money I would see. In the next five years, I see myself making one dress for $100,000, if not more. Just one dress.

“Maybe a content creation deal could pay me $500,000, but that might be a one-year contract. The amount I can make from one, two, three, or five dresses wouldn’t even take that long to achieve.

“Fashion designing is my foundation; it’s my baby. It’s not something I joke about. Unless I see that I’m losing focus on God’s purpose for my life, I won’t abandon it simply because there’s money elsewhere.”

Veekee added that while she is open to lucrative brand partnerships and content creation opportunities, fashion remains her first love and the core of her identity as a creative entrepreneur.
