Ryan Fitzgerald’s Week 4 Fantasy Outlook vs. Detroit

Detroit continues to be the type of matchup that puts opposing fantasy options on the radar, and Fitzgerald is no exception. If Carolina can consistently move the ball, he should have enough scoring opportunities to provide a usable floor.

Fitzgerald has yet to miss a kick this season and is 21-of-23 from 30-49 yards in his career. That reliability matters in a matchup where Carolina may need to maximize every possession to keep pace.

The appeal isn’t necessarily tied to a massive field-goal total. A few extra points combined with at least one made field goal could be enough to give Fitzgerald a respectable fantasy day at a position that often carries significant weekly variance.

Fitzgerald sits at K21 this week. He isn’t a top-tier option, but the matchup gives him enough circumstantial upside to be considered in deeper leagues.

Will Reichard’s Week 4 Fantasy Outlook vs. Miami

Reichard is approaching a full year since his last missed field goal, and Minnesota’s matchup with Miami gives him another favorable setup.

The Vikings enter the week as heavy favorites, which should create plenty of scoring chances. Extra points may not carry much individual value, but they help establish a floor, and a made field goal or two can quickly push a kicker into the top-10 conversation.

Reichard also showed off his range last week in Tampa Bay by hitting a pair of long field goals. Miami’s opponents are starting their average possession at the 36-yard line this season, the second-best average starting position in the league, which reduces how far Minnesota may need to move the ball before entering kicking range.

Reichard checks in at K4 for Week 4. The combination of accuracy, range, and projected scoring opportunities makes him one of the stronger options at the position.
