Fabrizio Ravanelli tips inconsistent Juventus star to score at least 10 goals
Fabrizio Ravanelli has backed Edon Zhegrova to enjoy an important season at Juventus, despite the Kosovo international struggling with inconsistency since joining the club. The former striker believes the winger has the ability to become a major player for the Bianconeri if he can reproduce his best performances regularly.
Zhegrova joined Juventus last season, but his first campaign did not go as planned. He struggled to make the expected impact, and the club considered selling him after just one season as they looked for ways to reshape their squad.
Juventus searched for a potential buyer, and a move remained possible until the transfer window in Saudi Arabia closed. The club had kept the attacker available for transfer, but with that opportunity gone, Zhegrova remained in Turin.
Ravanelli backs Zhegrova to improve
Zhegrova has shown encouraging signs in recent matches for both club and country, prompting renewed discussion about his future at Juventus. His improved performances have raised the possibility that the club could keep him beyond the current campaign.
Although the January transfer window will provide another opportunity to assess his situation, Juventus can currently focus on getting the best out of him. Ravanelli believes the winger has exceptional ability and could become one of the team’s most influential players.
Speaking via Tuttomercatoweb, Ravanelli said:
“I told him he’s a phenomenon and that what he does for the national team must also be done in training and with Juve, because he’s a phenomenon. If he finds consistency he can become the strongest player Juventus has, because he rocks games. He can score goals: for me he has a potential of 10 goals.”
The former Juventus striker’s comments underline his belief that consistency is the main factor holding Zhegrova back. If the winger can maintain his recent level, he could become a more important part of the team’s plans.

Licina also benefits from a fresh start
Ravanelli also discussed Adin Licina, who has experienced growth following his move to Cremonese. The former striker suggested that the change of environment has helped the young player feel less pressure.
On Licina, Ravanelli added: “It’s as if he’s freed up some of that pressure.”
For Juventus, both players represent different situations, but their development remains worth monitoring. Zhegrova will have an opportunity to prove himself in Turin, while Licina can continue working on his progress at Cremonese.
Zhegrova’s future remains open, with January offering another chance for Juventus to review their options. For now, Ravanelli’s confidence reflects the potential he believes the winger can fulfil if he delivers consistently.
