Ex-Blues winger Graham in hospital after serious accident

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham is in hospital after being involved in a “serious road traffic accident”.

A statement issued by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA), on behalf of Graham’s family, said the 31-year-old was “receiving specialist treatment” after the incident earlier this month.

Graham played 49 times in the Championship for Birmingham between 2021 and 2023 after joining from Gillingham.

An Aston Villa academy product, he also played 17 times for Wolves and had loan spells with Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham.

In total, he has made 188 career appearances but has not played since leaving Orient in 2025.

“His family are incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving,” the PFA statement added.

“They respectfully ask for privacy and that people refrain from contacting them directly while they focus entirely on Jordan and his recovery.

“Further information will only be provided when appropriate.”

A statement from Gillingham said: “Everyone at the club is thinking of Jordan and his family at this time.

“We wish him a full and swift recovery.”

Leyton Orient added: “We’re all with you JG.”
