Everton are interested in luring Burnley forward Zian Flemming to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club this summer, according to Ben Jacobs. Everton manager David Moyes is desperate to bolster the Toffees’ attack, and the Championship forward is the latest to be linked with the Merseyside club. Flemming bagged 11 goals in 29 Premier League appearances last term but could not help keep Burnley up. The 28-year-old Everton target has hit the ground running in the Championship, notching a brace in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United on Sunday.
The Blues could do with such an attacker but clubs from Italy, France and the Netherlands also want Flemming. Burnley are hoping to keep him to boost their chances of securing an immediate return to the Premier League at the end of next season.
Continuing his trade in the top-flight this season could appeal to the Dutchman, but Everton may need to table a juicy offer to have any chance of signing him.
They have also registered interest in Como attacker Assane Diao, while a bid for Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison has been lodged.
