Coventry City are set to complete the signing of centre-back Ethan Pinnock on an initial three-year deal.

The Jamaican international has spent the last seven seasons at Brentford having previously played non-league football with Dulwich Hamlet before then making the move to Forest Green Rovers and later Barnsley.

Pinnock initially joined the Bees in 2019 when the club were still in the Championship and has gone on to feature 216 times in total.

Now the 33-year-old is set to move to newly-promoted Coventry City with journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic reporting that the Sky Blues will pay an initial £5 million for the defender with the potential of an extra £1 million in add-ons.

Pinnock will undergo a medical with Frank Lampard‘s side before penning a three-year deal with the option of a further season.
