Details of Manchester United’s contract for Michael Carrick to stay as the club’s next permanent manager have been revealed.
Carrick is currently serving as interim manager until the end of the season after he took charge of the Old Trafford club following the sacking of Ruben Amorim a few months ago.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, it has been confirmed that Carrick will stay at United as permanent manager.

The plan to retain Carrick was also approved by the club’s chief, Sir Jim Ratfliffe and a new deal is set to be signed soon.
The new deal is for 2 years plus an option to extend or directly 3 years which Carrick has already indicated his decision to sign the contract.
Carrick has already guided Man United to qualify for the Champions League for next season.
