EPL: Alan Shearer singles out two Arsenal players for praise after Leeds win

Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, has singled out two Arsenal players for praise following the Gunners’ Premier League 2-1 win against Leeds United on Saturday.

Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Leeds at Emirates Stadium, thanks to goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes.

However, Shearer was pleased with the performances of Guimaraes and Declan Rice after the game, hailing both players.

“Once Bruno came on and moved it a bit better, he scored a great goal. Declan Rice, I thought, was very good in the second half,” Shearer said as quoted by Metro UK.

Arsenal will now face French Ligue 1 side Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday in their next match.
