
Enzo Fernandez has said he has joined a club built for success after signing for Manchester City in a £125m deal.
Fernandez completed his move from Chelsea on deadline day, in a transfer that equals the British transfer record fee.
The 25-year-old reunites with Enzo Maresca at the Etihad, having worked with the Italian at Chelsea. Together, the duo won theEuropa Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup, with Fernandez now setting his sights on more silverware. At international level, Fernandez won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina and 2024 Copa America.
The midfielder hailed City as ‘the most successful club in England in recent times’ and said it is a club that is set up to win trophies.
