Eagles 2026 training camp: When will rookies and veterans report

The July 28 report date will bring the full roster together as Philadelphia begins building toward the 2026 regular season. Jalen Hurts will work through a new offensive structure under Sean Mannion, DeVonta Smith will step into a larger role as the clear No. 1 receiver, and newcomers such as Makai Lemon, Hollywood Brown, Dontayvion Wicks, and Elijah Moore will try to establish timing in a revamped wide receiver room. The offensive line will also be under focus as Lane Johnson, Cam Jurgens, and Landon Dickerson work back from injury-related concerns while Tyler Steen attempts to build on his momentum.

The Eagles’ defense will have its own major storylines under Vic Fangio, including the continued development of young core pieces such as Jalen Carter, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Nolan Smith, and Andrew Mukuba. Training camp will help determine how the linebacker rotation settles, how the secondary aligns, and which depth players can force their way onto the 53-man roster.

Philadelphia will also have a notable joint practice on Aug. 19 against the New England Patriots. Joint practices often provide a better evaluation than preseason games because starters can receive controlled, high-intensity reps against a different opponent. For the Eagles, the Patriots’ practice will offer a useful benchmark late in camp, particularly for the revamped passing game, offensive line communication, and the defensive backfield.

The Eagles still have plenty to sort out before Week 1, but the framework is set. The full roster reports July 28, and the Aug. 19 joint practice with New England will give Philadelphia one of its most important tests of the summer.
