Colorado (37-54) defeated San Francisco (37-52), 7-6, on Sunday at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. 25,548 were in attendance.
The Rockies won the three-game National League series, 2-1.
Former Vol Drew Gilbert started in center field for the Giants and went 4-for-4. He totaled three RBIs, one run and one walk.
Gilbert hit a two-run home run in the second inning 410 feet. He also hit a RBI single in the sixth inning. The former Vol hit a double in the fourth inning and an infield single during the eighth inning.
Gilbert played at Tennessee from 2020-22 and appeared in 141 games, including 134 starts, as a batter. He also appeared in 11 contests as a relief pitcher and had a 2-0 record. Gilbert recorded a .314 batting average, 22 home runs, 140 RBIs and 116 runs with the Vols.
He was selected by Houston in the first round (No. 28 overall) of the 2022 MLB draft.
