Dodgers Lineup vs. Rockies: Max Muncy, Tommy Edman Out

The Los Angeles Dodgers have the chance to get their first road sweep in weeks on Wednesday, August 19th, against the Colorado Rockies.

The Dodgers offense has put together 18 runs in two games at Coors Field, finally waking up and hitting like they were early on in the season.

The Dodgers bullpen has been shaky, while the rotation remains steady and delivers quality starts.

There are still some struggling hitters on the Dodgers who could use Wednesday’s game as a breakout, but for the most part, things have been good offensively.

There are a good number of changes to the batting order, with Teoscar Hernandez moving all the way up to third, while Ben Rortvedt comes in for Hunter Feduccia after the poor catcher got sick.

Miguel Rojas also comes in for Tommy Edman, while Kike Hernandez comes in for Max Muncy.

The Dodgers are facing a lefty in Kyle Freeland, allowing for Hernandez and Rojas to get the starting nod.

Teoscar Hernandez had a great game on Tuesday, and he will look to build on it and break out of a long slump.

The Dodgers have Roki Sasaki on the mound, and after a lot of inconsistency, he’s become one of the more reliable pitchers on the staff.

Even when he doesn’t have his best command, Sasaki can get outs, either by using his stuff or pitching to contact now.

Sasaki faces a tough test pitching in Coors Field, where pitches don’t follow their usual shapes and the thin air lets them travel farther than at a typical park.

If he puts together another great start, his rise will be undeniable at this point.
