Devin Lloyd won’t be winning back-to-back NFL defensive player of the year awards.
The Panthers linebacker was honored for his two-interception performance in last Sunday’s blowout win over the Falcons, but he will not be in the lineup against the Browns this weekend. Lloyd missed his third straight practice on Friday with a calf injury and the team has ruled him out.
Wide receivers Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee) returned for limited practices on Friday and are listed as questionable for Sunday.
Linebacker Claudin Cherelus (shoulder) and safety Nick Scott (rib) are the other two Panthers who have been ruled out this week.
