Workers at the Delta State Secretariat in Asaba have reportedly shut down the complex following the death of a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Secondary Education, Mr Unity Ekpevbughe Adeda.
Adeda reportedly died on Thursday, September 24, 2026, following an altercation.
His death triggered tension among workers at the secretariat, with activities reportedly disrupted as staff demanded answers over the circumstances surrounding the incident.
