This is to inform all students of Delta State University, Abraka that members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) have embarked on an ongoing industrial action effective from May 1, 2026.
This development has impacted certain services rendered by these categories of staff within the university.
Management wishes to assure students that the Federal Government is actively engaging with the unions with a view to resolving the issues in dispute as soon as possible.
This notice is issued to keep students duly informed and to solicit their understanding and cooperation as efforts continue towards a prompt resolution of the industrial action.
