David Bailey, Breece Hall listed as limited in Jets practice

The Jets played without rookie linebacker David Bailey in Week 8 after he missed practice all week with a groin injury, but Week 9’s practice schedule got off to a better start.

Bailey was a limited participant as the Jets prepared for this Sunday’s trip to Kansas City. The first-round pick had 5.5 sacks in the first seven games of the season.

Running back Breece Hall (quad) was also a limited participant. Hall has missed five straight games, but head coach Aaron Glenn said at his press conference that Hall is “trending in the right direction” to return this week.

Wide receiver Garrett Wilson (concussion), defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (ankle), and linebacker Demario Davis (rest) missed practice. Linebacker Joseph Ossai (ankle), tight end Mason Taylor (back), and linebacker Trevin Wallace (groin) were limited participants.

Safety VJ Payne (knee) was designated for return from injured reserve Wednesday and he was listed as a full participant in his return to practice.
