Real Madrid icon Dani Carvajal has been offered to both Liverpool and Manchester City by intermediaries assessing potential opportunities for the former Spanish international, according to TEAMtalk.
In what would certainly be a sensational move for the 34-year-old, Carvajal remains without a new club following his emotional departure from the Bernabeu over the summer.
In a career with the 15-time European champions that spanned 23 years over two separate stints, it was announced back in May that the record-breaking defender would be leaving the club following the end of his current contract.
Making over 450 appearances for the Spanish giants, Carvajal is one of the most decorated players in history after getting his hands on 27 titles. That CV also includes four La Liga trophies and a staggering six separate Champions League crowns.
However, while both Liverpool and Manchester City might have been approached over a potential deal for the ex-Los Blancos skipper, they are not the only Premier League outfit who have been offered a rare opportunity.
TEAMtalk’s report also suggests that Fulham could be a possible shock destination for the 52-cap international. A dramatic move to west London would see Carvajal link up with former Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa.
Although the former Madrid captain might be currently assessing options from the likes of America and the Middle East, he is reportedly open to a maiden taste of Premier League football.
