Cubs vs. Reds NBC Sunday Night Baseball Bingo

The Cubs will wrap up a wild three-game series against the Reds Sunday night. They dropped a close game on Friday 10-8 after they just couldn’t quite pull off the comeback. Saturday they left no room for error, scoring 17 runs, including the first career three home run effort from MVP candidate Pete Crow-Armstrong. They’ll look to win their final game at Wrigley Field against Cincy this season on NBC’s game of the week, and you know what that means: Bingo.

This game started as a way to make some truly groan-worthy national announcer crews more palatable, but I admit tonight’s crew for NBC is not that. Jason Benetti is the best in the business and he’ll be joined by Jeff Brantley and Anthony Rizzo. That only would be a great booth, and I admit I’m excited to hear what Rizzo has to say about his 2016 World Series teammate Jon Lester, who will be inducted into the Cubs Hall of Fame tonight. But tonight’s crew also includes the absolutely essential Joey Votto who will be contributing from the sideline and if you haven’t had a chance to watch Votto talk about baseball this season, you’re in for a treat:

But the (Bingo) game must go on even as the booth reaches legendary status. As always, play along at home and if you want a real challenge, make it a blackout game. I do not recommend making it a drinking game unless you are trying to black out:
