As kickoff nears for the suddenly important Week 2 matchup among NFC rivals, game prep is now a thing of the past. After warming up ahead of the contest, the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders have announced their inactives for the game. Working with 55-man rosters, each team had to designate seven players who would not be suiting up.
As it’s early in the season, there’s a mixture of injured players and DNP-Coach’s Decisions for both clubs. The headlines are that both teams are going to be missing their premiere linebackers. For the Cowboys, DeMarvion Overshown is going to be on the sideline due to his hamstring. He’ll be standing next to starting safety Malik Hooker. On Washington’s sideline, Frankie Luvu will be held back due to his groin injury. Here’s a look at the total inactives list.
